El impacto de la poesía en el desarrollo de la conciencia fonológica. Una revisión temática
The Impact of Poetry in the Development of Phonological Awareness. A Thematic Revision

La conciencia fonológica es una habilidad fundamental para el desarrollo del lenguaje y la alfabetización, y puede requerir intervenciones para su desarrollo en la infancia. La poesía, como género literario, utiliza el lenguaje de manera imaginativa y creativa, estableciendo múltiples relaciones entre sentido, forma y sonido. Debido a su potencial para los juegos lingüísticos multidimensionales, se ha revisado la literatura reciente con el fin de rastrear el uso de textos poéticos en la investigación sobre la conciencia fonológica. Para esta revisión, se seleccionaron artículos sobre conciencia fonológica en la base de datos scopus que mencionaran explícitamente la poesía o los textos literarios en el ámbito fonoaudiológico, publicados entre 2014 y 2024. Los resultados muestran que, aunque la poesía no es un núcleo predominante en la investigación, siete estudios destacan la utilidad de la poesía para evaluar y mejorar la prosodia, la alfabetización temprana y la intervención en niños con necesidades educativas especiales (discapacidad visual, trastorno del espectro autista, trastorno del desarrollo del lenguaje). La discusión de resultados resalta el lugar de la conciencia fonológica en el desarrollo del lenguaje y la alfabetización y el potencial de la poesía como herramienta efectiva para su desarrollo. La revisión concluye que se necesitan más investigaciones relacionadas con el tema en el ámbito de la intervención fonoaudiológica, especialmente en hablantes del español.
