Descriptive study of the interpersonal communication in blind-deaf children between 4 and 12 years
Estudio descriptivo de la comunicación interpersonal en niños sordociegos entre 4 y 12 años

The present document presents the results of an investigation based on a descriptive study, centered in the description of the communicative characteristics that are declared in the communicative interaction of a group of congenital blind deaf children between 4 and 12 years with their speakers in a social context. The employed method for the harvesting of information was the not-participating type or simple observation where was employed a perceptual strategy through which the observer registered the communicative behaviors that were given in the interaction, and where should carry out the description of aspects related to proxemy, exploration, communicative interaction and social interaction. The results are found related to two important aspects. To know: a) The description of the behaviors observed according to the proposal of Nafstad and Rodbroe (1997), and b) the characterization of the communication in blind and deaf children as system.
