Abstract

This article has focused on characterizing the results show the trend of social outreach projects running the training of speech therapists in the Iberoamericana University Corporation for the period 2005 and 2011. It is a descriptive study interest-documentary which used indicators were used bibliometrics that allowed characterizing aspects such as population, number of boarded population areas, scenarios, roles, functions and products generated phonoaudiological within the practice of professional emphasis. Register arrays according to the established indicators were designed. The results were appopiate to the analysis of 99 projects focus on a period of six years and showed the trend in the caring role, areas of communication and child population, the new interest in the area of the upper aerodigestive tract and phonoaudiological stock assessment and counseling are evident taking importance to interdisciplinary processes and humanization of services.
