Tool´s designing and making to describe the adult communicative competence

The research used the steps that are world known in order to make and validate a tool. There are: theory review, tool´s designing and making, judges´ checking, preliminary test punctuation values testing and tool´s phycometrics propierties. The study´s objective was to describe the tool´s designing and making process in order to describe the adult communicative competence.
The research was a descriptive one and it used the method that implies the steps that were established by Hernández (2002). Five speech and hearing pathologists who played a judge role participated in this study. They reviewed and checked the tool. And there was a 32 adults group between 21 and 76 years old who were watched during three different communicative interactions in the preliminary test. The results were focused to describe the different steps that are needed in order to design and make a confidence tool to characterize the adult communicative competence in accordance to the systemic model. The results show the confidence and validity to the tool, describe the four steps that must follow in order to make a confidence tool. At the end the study shows and describes the different tools that have to use in order to take communicative samples, the methodology and some strategies like triangulation analysis to describe de samples.
