Privacy statement

In compliance with Article 10 of Decree 1377 of 2013, which regulates Law 1581 of 2012, the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana, as the entity responsible for the processing of personal data, declares that the personal and professional information provided by editors, assistants, authors, and peer reviewers of the Revista Areté is included in our databases and will be used exclusively for the purposes declared by the journal and the institution, related to academic, research, teaching, and outreach activities. This information will not be available for any other purpose and will not be shared with third parties for personal use.

Our authors, members of the various committees, and peer reviewers authorize the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana to process their personal data in accordance with the provisions established by current legal regulations.

In accordance with the procedures established in the aforementioned regulations, data holders may exercise their rights to access, update, rectify, and delete their personal information by sending their request to the journal’s email address: arete@academico.ibero.edu.co.
