Abstract

The following document is an investigation pertaining to the axis of technological advances for the phonoaudiological evaluation and intervention, for a synthesis related to an evaluative
descriptive investigative study carried out with 94 adults minors of 80 years, with hearing loss, 48 patients of male sex and 46 of the female sex, selected through an existing database in different doctor’s audiological privates offices, in Cundinamarca - Colombia, in order to identifying the differences existed in the hearing thresholds in adults with hearing loss, upon applying the techniques of masking of Hood and Portmann.
