Abstract

School speech-language pathology plays a key role in ensuring the right to inclusive education and sociocommunicative justice by connecting policies, institutions, families, and communities through a transformative approach. This perspective shifts the focus from individual remediation to the creation of accessible and diverse learning environments, integrating Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, and communicative accessibility. The work of the speech-language pathologist centers on co-teaching, developing accessible materials, engaging in dialogue with families, and promoting inclusive communicative ecosystems. Thus, school speech-language pathology emerges as an ethical and socially committed practice that fosters participation, equity, and the recognition of all voices within educational settings.
